For Grosse Pointe North's 2024 performing arts trip, we visited Disneyworld for five days. I volunteered to make a video for a trip, and I am incredibly proud of how it turned out. I absolutely loved this trip because I got to be in an incredible place with some of my favorite people, while still learning about music. One of the other North Pointe editors had made a mini-lesson on how to use CapCut, so I was able to use what I learned to make this video. For a social media rail, I had to go and take pictures of the bands in our district performing at Bandorama. It was a struggle getting these photos without being in the way of the audience or any of the performers, or using flash so that I didn't distract anyone. However, I really like how these pictures turned out, and it was a fun experience hearing all of the different pieces that the middle schools and our high school performed.

I didn't write the story that went along with these photos, but when someone urgently asked for photography, I volunteered. The problem with this story is that we were covering eighth grade day, and did not have permission to photograph non Grosse Pointe North students. Because of this I had to work around a lot of obstacles, but was able to get really good photos of high schoolers and the occasional eighth grader.

For our 2023 senior issue, my partner and I did a story on our annual bike day. This was the first time I was genuinley proud of the photography I had taken. Even though I had to get up at 6 A.M. to get these photos, I think they exceeded our expectations. My partner took photos of the seniors riding their bikes along the water while I drove, and we were able to get really good candid's that captured the joy of the seniors.
